Conceal Carry Permit NM Concealed Carry $100 includes gun rental (if needed) and 100 rounds of ammunition New Mexico Concealed Carry course (CCW) teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed handgun for self defense outside of the home. Topics include: safe handling and carry options, shooting fundamentals, gear choices, recognizing and avoiding confrontation, engaging the target(s), using cover, movement and much more. This is not sitting in a room, listening to a long lecture while eating nor is it practicing to disarm a dirtbag who wants to do bad things to you or your family (please don't try that). This is a course designed to teach you how to recognize and avoid dangerous situations whenever possible. NRA Courses NRA Training provides an excellent base for students who want to learn and master the fundamentals of safe shooting. The Basic Pistol and Basic Rifle classes are designed to introduce new shooters, or those with minimal experience with firearms, to the nomenclature, parts and fundamentals of safe firearm handling and shooting. ThePersonal Protection courses offer more advanced shooters the opportunity to learn and practice more advanced self defense tactics.

While this class will teach and reinforce techniques to identify, minimize and avoid threatening situations whenever possible, the goal is to introduce and develop the skills and mindset to prevail in an armed conflict. Women's Armed Defense We offer several options for our Women's Only courses. From basic instruction and training in either rifle or pistol to advanced personal protection strategies that include Concealed Carry of a Weapon (CCW) certification. Of course all of our other courses are open to both men and women, but we offer women's only courses to facilitate an environment where female shooters of all skill levels can build confidence in their gun handling skills without having to deal with the testosterone overdrive.

Tactical Courses This group of courses is open to anyone who wants to improve their gun handling skills and has at least a basic level of training. We will cover tactical firearm manipulation by building on the fundamentals of proper shooting technique. Level I courses introduce the student to tactical weapons and gear, firearms manipulation, movement, malfunctions and alternate shooting positions. Level II will build on those skills by reinforcing the combat mindset, threat analysis, multiple targets, combat accuracy and low light shooting. Courses in both levels are taught in a fast paced, dynamic live fire setting. These courses are not for the timid. They are physically and mentally challenging and require students to abandon their comfort zones to master the techniques that could someday save their life. Tactical Handgun Operator I (THOr-I) - This course is entry level and is designed to solidify and build upon the proper handgun shooting fundamentals. We will introduce combat mindset, gear selection and placement, reloading, malfunction clearance, strong and weak hand shooting, moving and shooting and intro to low light shooting. $250/250 rounds/16 hours-Basic pistol training or experience recommended Tactical Handgun Operator II (THOr-II) - Advanced course designed to take those with solid handgun experience to the next level. This is a fast paced, dynamic live fire course. The course builds on the combat mindset, rapid threat analysis and target acquisition, shooting on the move, multiple target engagement, natural and improvised shooting positions, barricade shooting and low light tactics. $325/500 rounds/16 hours-Basic pistol training required Tactical Long Gun Operator I (TaLon-I) - an entry level course that familiarizes students with their rifle. The course covers proper choice and placement of gear, optics and accessories (kit), proper shooting fundamentals, speed and tactical reloads, malfunctions and moving while shooting. $250/500 rounds/16 hours-Basic rifle training or experience recommended Tactical Long Gun Operator II (TaLon-II) - advanced course designed to take those with solid rifle experience to the next level. This is a fast paced, dynamic live fire course that builds on the principles taught in TaLon-I.
